President Kay presented $50 to DJ the Interact Advisor (a math teacher at IHS) for the club. Thee Assistant Principal introduced herself and thanked everyone.

The “Ethics in Business Conference” was praised by many members who attended and commented on how great the kids were and how nice the program was. Our very own Carl Leech was given recognition at the event for his 20 years of dedication to this program. Congratulations Carl!!!!

Program: The program was brief because of time, DJ told the club how the Interact Club became involved with the Solomon Islands and their need for text & reference books. She attended a Rotary Club meeting there while visiting for a missionary conference and discovered that they needed books for their library. When she got back, the Interact Club got into full gear and gathered 21 boxes of books. They just shipped the books out on March 7th.
